In the age of COVID, many people discuss the opportunity for a new normal. However, how does a savvy organization shape that new normal? In this episode, I speak to Lori Silverman, futurist, business storyteller and the founder of Partners for Progress, about data-driven decision making and the importance of applying Strategic Thinking in order to determine a path toward the future.
As the founder of Partners for Progress®, Lori helps firms strategize about their future; navigate messy, complex changes; make smarter decisions using data, and influence through story. Since 1991, she’s worked in 25 industries, with enterprises like American Family Insurance, McDonalds, Target, GE, BMW, and Phillips North America. As a keynote speaker at more than 80 events, Lori’s inspired thousands to take action. She’s the author of five books, including the best-seller, Business Storytelling for Dummies. Lori is also an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University teaching the only graduate course in the world on strategic thinking in an industrial and Organizational Psychology Master’s Program.
